COUCH TO 5K
“Don’t forget your running shoes!”
If you would like to take up running, get fitter or return from injury, then this 10-week walk/run programme is a great, gentle-paced way to do it.
There are several benefits to taking part in the Couch to 5k with the Tamar Trotters:
- UK Athletics qualified coaches available for support, advice and tuition
- No pressure as everyone will be new to the activity
- Time to develop stamina and strength and to find out what pace suits you
- The opportunity to run with us on other training nights if you wish to take the sport further – but within your own timescales.
Running sessions take place on Friday evenings, meeting at 6pm to start running at 6:15pm at Saltash Rugby Club, Moorlands Lane, Saltash and will last no longer than one hour.
