LIST OF EVENT HELPER OPPORTUNITIES

1                    GENERAL

1.1             The Saltash Half Marathon and 5K and Fun Run are road running events that form part of the Saltash May Fair weekend.

1.2             The intention is that the runs will raise funds for Saltash based clubs and organisations

1.3             See below to find out how you can get involved with this fun local event and raise some funds for your own club or organisation.

 

2                    EVENT PROFIT SHARING SCHEME

2.1             We require a significant number of course marshals to ensure that the runners are guided safely around the course.

2.2             Each course marshals’ role is to guide the runners and provide encouragement and support to the runners

2.3             Click here for a list of helper locations and see which roles are still available.

2.4             We will pay £10 (one share) for each marshal location covered.

2.5             The donation will be paid directly to the bank account of any Saltash based club or organisation nominated by the volunteer.

2.6             Marshals will be required for a maximum of 3 hours

2.7             All helpers will receive a delicious pasty from Bakers Cornish Bakehouse, steak or vegetable

 

3                    TERMS AND CONDITIONS

3.1             The £10 donation will only be paid directly to the bona fide bank account of the nominated club or organisation. We cannot pay cash to any individual or pay deposit into personal bank accounts.

3.2             We can only pay £10 per each marshal location, if more than one individual covers a marshal location then we can only pay one occurrence of £10
