TRAINING

We have a variety of club runs each week, meeting at the Saltash Rugby Club. Many of our members meet up at the weekends in groups for informal, social and/or longer runs.

If you are joining us for the first time please contact our Membership Secretary, Helen, beforehand so she knows to expect you and arrange for someone to meet you, email her at membership@tamartrotters.co.uk

At all our club sessions you will find one of our Club Coaches, Coaching Assistants or Leaders available for advice and guidance and they will lead one of our pace groups.

Tuesday and Thursday club runs are from Saltash Rugby Club. We meet from 6.45pm to run for an hour at 7pm. We split into different pace groups covering 11, 10.5, 10, 9.5, 9, 8.5, 8, 7.5, 7 and 6min mile pace.

Once the running is done we return to the rugby club where we have tea, coffee and biscuits available and often some homemade cakes! On a Thursday evening the rugby club bar is open from 8.30pm.

We have Friday Catch Up Run that meets to run at 6.15pm from outside the Rugby Club. Depending on numbers and ability this can be anything from 30mins to an hour run.

SATURDAY MORNING TRACK SESSIONS

Interval training sessions are held at Brickfields Running Track on Saturday mornings from 10am to 12pm, all year. These sessions are free for our members as we are part of the Armada Athletics Network.
