Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, this event (which normally takes place in early July, on a Saturday evening) is not taking place in 2021. However, we look forward to seeing you in 2022!

THE MAGNIFICIENT 7

The “Magnificent 7” is a challenging seven-mile road run at Saltash in Cornwall and organised by the Tamar Trotters. It is a very hilly course and is NOT SUITABLE FOR WHEELCHAIRS.

  • Held under the rules of UK Athletics and part of the Cornish Grand Prix Series 
  • A tough, well marshalled and accurate course, taking runners through country lanes with good views over the Tamar and Lynher Estuaries
  • The 7-mile race has a minimum age limit of 16 and is restricted to 500 competitors; enter early to secure your place. All finishers in this race will receive a large, uniquely designed, quality medal
  • There is also a 1.5-mile Fun Run, which takes place before the main 7-mile race so that runners can take part or spectate both events. All finishers in the Fun Run will receive a unique medal
  • Both races start and finish at Saltash Rugby Club in Moorlands Lane, Saltash, Cornwall, PL12 4HJ
    The Fun Run starts at 18:15
    The 7-mile race starts at 19:00

  • Ample parking, 5 minutes’ walk from the start – please follow the signs NOTE THAT PARKING IS NOT AVAILABLE AT SALTASH RUGBY CLUB.
