RACE ENTRY FORM

• The Saltash Half Marathon is a tough road run organised by the Saltash Mayfair Committee and the Tamar Trotters. 
  The race is held under the rules of UK Athletics 
  
  
• The race follows a tough, well marshalled and accurate course through town and country lanes with good views over the Tamar Estuary. Runners must keep to the left at all times during the race. There are drink stations on the course and at the finish. This is a hilly course and is not suitable for wheelchairs  

  The course is not easy by any means but you will enjoy it

  The Saltash Half Marathon has a minimum age limit of 17 
  
   

• There is also a 2 mile Fun Run for juniors and less adventurous athletes.
  The Fun Run starts at 10:15 a.m., entries on the day only.
  
  
• Both races start and finish at Fore Street, Saltash, Cornwall
  The Fun Run starts at 10:15 a.m.
  The Saltash Half Marathon starts at 10:00 a.m.
  
  

• DIRECTIONS.   The race starts and finishes at the bottom of Fore Street, Saltash. The race start and allocated car park will be clearly signposted from the A38 Tamar bridge.  
  NOTE - There will be NO parking available adjacent to the race start, and Fore Street will be closed to all traffic, so please use the designated car parks which are a few minutes walk from the start area. All public car parks in Saltash are free for the May Fair Weekend. Allow ample time to walk from the car park to the race start.  
  

• Prizes will be awarded in the following categories
  The prize presentation will take place at 1:00 p.m.
  

  Male 1st three overall 1st under 25 1st two vets 40 - 44 1st two vets 45 - 49 1st two vets 50 - 54 1st two vets 55 - 59 1st vet 60+ 1st team (4 to count)	Female 1st three overall 1st under 25 1st two vets 35 - 39 1st two vets 40 - 44 1st two vets 45 - 49 1st two vets 50 - 59 1st vet 60+ 1st team (3 to count)

• The following facilities are available :-
  Toilets & Changing facilities, sorry no showers
  Ample parking 5 minutes walk from the start
  Secure baggage stowage (all kit is left at owners risk)
  Well marshalled and accurate race
  Water stations on the course and at the finish
  Medical cover provided by St John Ambulance

  Entry Fee for the Half Marathon is £8.00 for members of affiliated athletic clubs and £10.00 for all others.
