The Tamar Trotters have a great day at the Westward League cross country event in Exeter on Sunday 4th December 2011

This event also hosted the Devon Cross-Country Championships

In short:
 
                         - Amy Wilkinson is now Devon county women's overall champion.
 
                         - Paul Wilsmore won the MV60 championship
 
                         - Chris Sabine came second in the MV40 champs
 
                         - Mike Wilsmore finished 4th in the men's overall champs
 
                         - our male vets team of Chris Sabine, Guy Petersen and Paul Wilsmore came third.
 
Amy and Mike are now guaranteed to be chosen to represent Devon (and the Trotters) at the South West Inter Counties Champs next in 2012.
 
In the Westward League, our senior men's team have climbed to eighth overall and our male vets team are fifth, but just 10 points off third!!!!
 
Also, it would be great if you could give a special mention to Jenny Sabine, who took part in the under 15 girls race at the Westward League - her first actual race!!!!!!
